Status of Construction / Progress Summary
This report will include construction updates of Kijani Suites Beach Apartments located at Ocean Beach Drive, Malindi- Kenya, as of September 4th, 2024. The report is divided into individual block numbers with full descriptions of the work done. The report also entails the construction update of the showhouse. Also, a photo log of construction activities for the above-mentioned date is provided along with the description of the work done.
Block 1
The final coat of interior paint has commenced successfully, infusing both indoor and outdoor spaces with a fresh and revitalized look. This crucial step marks a significant transformation as we bring the finishing touches to the living spaces. In parallel, our team is actively working on electrical wiring, cabinet fittings, and the installation of fixtures, ensuring that every detail meets the highest standards of quality. Additionally, we are pleased to report that door fittings have been fully completed, adding to the overall progress and readiness of the project as we move closer to its final stages.
Block 2
The final coat of interior paint has successfully begun, marking a key milestone in the project. As we make steady progress, our team is actively working on electrical wiring, cabinet fittings, and the installation of fixtures, ensuring every detail is crafted with care. Door fittings have been fully completed, and the Galana tiling on the staircases and veranda is now finished, adding a polished and elegant touch to these areas.
Block 3
The final coat of interior paint has been successfully applied, infusing both indoor and outdoor spaces with a fresh and vibrant look. As we move forward, electrical wiring, cabinet fittings, and fixture installations are actively in progress, ensuring that every aspect of the project is coming together seamlessly. Additionally, the door fittings have been fully completed, marking another significant step toward the project’s completion.
Block 4
Interior painting for the final coat is currently ongoing, adding the finishing touches to the spaces. Floor tiling work has been successfully completed, and the installation of glass windows in the exterior and staircase areas is now finished. Additionally, the roof terrace has been completed, along with all waterproofing efforts, ensuring durability and readiness for the final stages of the project.
Block 5
The interior painting of the final coat has commenced, marking a crucial step toward project completion. Washroom tile installation is actively ongoing, while plumbing and wardrobe finishing are also in progress, ensuring that every detail is attended to with precision and care.
SHOWHOUSE
Fittings of windows and doors for the showhouse are complete. The floor tiles of all the rooms have also been fixed. Fixing of wardrobes is also complete.
Exterior & Common Areas
The front yard and garden are currently being leveled, with the installation of Mazeras footpaths progressing smoothly. Electrical wiring for street lights and garden lights is actively underway, while the plastering of both the interior and exterior of the swimming pool is nearing completion, bringing us closer to the final stages of the project.
