Status of Construction / Progress Summary
This report will include construction updates of Kijani Suites Beach Apartments located at Ocean Beach Drive, Malindi- Kenya, as of January 26th 2024. The report is divided into individual block numbers with full descriptions of the work done. The report also entails the construction update of the showhouse. Also, a photo log of construction activities for the above-mentioned date is provided along with the description of the work done2
Block 1
The ongoing construction activities encompass the preparation and painting of interior surfaces, with exterior surfaces poised for the next phase. Simultaneously, the installation of door frame fittings is underway. Additionally, the water infrastructure has seen significant progress, as water tanks and pipes have been fixed and thoroughly tested to ensure functionality and reliability in the upcoming stages of the project.
Block 2
The comprehensive painting of interior and exterior wall surfaces has been successfully accomplished, including the application of both first and second coats. Simultaneously, the installation of aluminum glazing for doors and windows is currently underway. Concurrently, the fitting of door frames is in progress, contributing to the ongoing developments. Additionally, the essential infrastructure for water, encompassing tanks and pipes, has been effectively fixed and rigorously tested to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
Block 3
The painting of both interior and exterior surfaces has been successfully completed, marking a significant milestone in the project. Currently, the installation of door frames is in progress, complemented by the ongoing work on aluminum glazing for doors and windows. Concurrently, the Galana tiling process is underway on both the staircase and veranda, adding to the aesthetic enhancements. Meanwhile, the essential water infrastructure, including the fixing and thorough testing of water tanks and pipes, has been completed to ensure their functionality and reliability in the overall project.
Block 4
The completion of painting for both interior and exterior surfaces signifies a notable achievement in the project. Simultaneously, the fitting of door frames is actively underway, accompanied by the ongoing installation of aluminum glazing for doors and windows. In tandem with these activities, the crucial components of the water infrastructure, including tanks and pipes, have been successfully fixed. This multifaceted progress reflects a comprehensive and coordinated effort towards the overall completion of the project.
Block 5
The project has reached significant milestones as the painting of both interior and exterior surfaces has been successfully completed. Additionally, interior door frames have been fitted, contributing to the overall progress. Notably, the floor area has been fully tiled, providing a finished and polished look to the space. The Galana tiling on both the staircase and veranda is also complete, adding a distinctive touch to these areas. Furthermore, the essential infrastructure for water, including lines and tanks, has been meticulously fixed and thoroughly tested, ensuring the functionality and reliability of the water system in the completed project.
SHOWHOUSE
Fittings of windows and doors for the showhouse are complete. The floor tiles of all the rooms have also been fixed. Fixing of wardrobes is also complete.
